Title: Sweet Potato Apple Crisp

Yield: 6 Servings

2 1/2cCanned apple slices
  (1 lb 4 oz size)
2cVery thin slices of peeled
  Sweet potatoes
1tsGround cinnamon
1/2tsSalt
2tbFresh lemon juice
1/2cUnsifted all purpose flour
1/2cFirmly packed brown sugar
1/3cButter or margarine

Drain apples; add enough water to juice to make six tablespoons of liquid.

Alternate layers of apples and potatoes in shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with mixed cinnamon and salt.

Mix liquid and lemon juice; pour over fruit mixture.

Combine flour and sugar; cut in butter. Sprinkle over top.

Cover and bake in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15 more minutes longer.
